Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!  This week’s books were VIP specials from Indie book store Fiction Addiction,  received from this week’s book signing.  A big post on the book signing will be showcased next week!

 What great books did you receive this week?

And now for our Surprise…Last year I went to a book signing and had my first face to face casual conversation with some very great authors.  During that signing I saw a young adult who was super excited about books, authors, and signings as I was.  A year later, I saw this same young lady at another signing.  We chatted.  We compared books.  We enjoyed the event.  Social media got us connected and A Leisure Moment now has a new reviewer and her name is Moriah.  When I mentioned to my darling hubby the addition of our new reviewer , he reminded me with this question, “Isn’t she the student that I said you should do a quick interview about her love for reading.”  Well doesn’t he have a great memory and he is absolutely right!  Welcome Moriah! {Deitre}

A few words from Moriah…

It’s hard to pinpoint the exact moment that I fell in love with reading. Beginning at the age of four, when a set of Bob books was placed in my hands, reading became a part of who I am. Wherever I go I have a book with me just in case there is a reading opportunity. I think that every book should be given the opportunity to be read and it is a wonderful thing to find a priceless gem on the bookshelf in a book store. The types of books that I read is not limited, but I am partial to Young Adult Fiction. I am a student working towards a Liberal Arts degree in English. Literature is not only a hobby but a love, and I enjoy reading books and writing reviews on the wonderful words that grace the pages.

Monday will be Moriah’s debut book review on the following:

Eternal (Shadow Falls: After Dark, #2) by C.C. Hunter
Published by St. Martin’s Griffin
Genre: Young Adult, Urban Fantasy/Paranormal
Pages: 386

Because of our excitement we are going to have a giveaway!  Thank you for following A Leisure Moment and be sure to enter below.
