Jeff Gunhus has done it again. An upper middle level series, Jack Templar and the Lord of the Werewolves is another exciting journey. Being that I’ve read books 1-3, I knew that I couldn’t leave out book 4. Each journey is stuffed with exciting storylines and amazing characters and this book doesn’t disappoint. Of being that the last novel involved vampires. I was thrilled. This involves werewolves I was double thrilled. This series just doesn’t get enough attention. The author has carefully planned each event of the story and these events have translated into a great read from start to finish.
Everywhere Jack turns he is battling monsters! This novel starts off where book three ends. If by chance you haven’t read the previous books, no worries, you will catch on and then be highly encouraged to read the previous books. There are missions to take and monsters to fight in far away lands. However, Jack is up to the task, reuniting the Jerusalem Stones. These adventures and fights to come at a price, especially for some of those that fight side by side with Jack. But he is on a mission determine to accomplish the impossible and except what happens afterwards. Descriptive writing that allows you to visualize every scene, and actually be in the story, this is a series that you will not want to miss out on.
Jeff Gunhus is the author of the Amazon bestselling supernatural thriller, Night Chill, and the Middle Grade/YA series, The Templar Chronicles. The first book of the series, Jack Templar Monster Hunter, was written in an effort to get his reluctant reader eleven-year old son excited about reading. It worked and a new series was born. His book Reaching Your Reluctant Reader has helped hundreds of parents create avid readers. Killer Within is his second novel for adults. As a father of five, he and his wife Nicole spend most of their time chasing kids and taking advantage of living in the great state of Maryland. In rare moments of quiet, he can be found in the back of the City Dock Cafe in Annapolis working on his next novel. If you see him there, sit down and have a cup of coffee with him. You just might end up in his next novel.
