Hi Jus! Thanks for stopping by A Leisure Moment – so glad to have you here!
Thanks so much for having me!
To start, if you had to choose between being able to time travel or travel to different dimensions, which would you choose?
I would probably go with the dimension travel. Time travel would be too risky. I have no self-control. I would definitely do something/change something that would alter history, and someone, somewhere, would be screwed, lol. Probably me.
This isn’t just a sci-fi novel; it’s also a romance—and a very unique one! I don’t want to give too much away, but I can promise reader that this one is a doozey! Quick! Name your top book boyfriend and why.
Oh, God. Top? As in ONE? …If I HAVE to pick, I always go with Clayton Danvers from Kelly Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series. Clay is fierce and stubborn and loyal to a point where he waited YEARS because he knew he’d found the one—even if it took her a while to figure it out.
Infinity ends on a cliffhanger. How many more books can we expect out of this series?
There are three total in the series.
Kori had a love of art. Do you love picking up a paintbrush or bottle of spray paint as much as she does?
I used to sketch, but I haven’t in a long while. Since Infinity though, I’ve been itching to dig out my books.
If you could have lunch with any of these characters, which would you choose and why? Which character would you want to go on the run with?
Noah. Hands down. I have a HUGE soft spot for Noah 😉 I’m a sucker for those fiery guys with the soft gushy middles…
Who has inspired you the most in your writing, and why did you chose to write sci-fi for young adults?
So many have inspired me, but I think most notably, it would be S.E Hinton and L.J Smith. I grew up ravenously inhaling anything and everything from them that I could get my hands on.
I’m a huge fan of shows like Sliders and Fringe, and I really wanted to put my own spin on the alternate reality theme. As for the young adult part, I LOVE YA books. Reliving all those first—love, friendships, betrayals, heartbreaks—it’s fantastic. There’s so much emotion.
When not writing, what do you spend your time doing? What do you read when you are writing?
I love being outdoors and I’m a huge World of Warcraft fanatic. As for reading, my favorites are Paranormal and sci fi, but I’ll read anything with awesome characters and a killer plot!
What’s the last book that you had on your nightstand?
The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter
Thanks for stopping by, Jus! I can’t wait to read more of your work. ☺
Thanks so much. This was a blast!
A graphic by yours truly, as I loved this scene!
Big thanks to Jus for sending this graphic along! Doesn’t it make you want the book even more?
There are three things Kori knows for sure about her life:
One: Her army general dad is insanely overprotective.
Two: The guy he sent to watch her, Cade, is way too good-looking.
Three: Everything she knew was a lie.
Now there are three things Kori never knew about her life:
One: There’s a device that allows her to jump dimensions.
Two: Cade’s got a lethal secret.
Three: Someone wants her dead.
Read my review and travel with Noah and Cade!
